What is Citation Analysis?

This LibGuide is designed to help you conduct citation analyses of articles and authors using Web of Science.  Citation analysis is a way to measure the impact of a scholar's contribution or the importance of a journal to its given field.  Citation analysis also shows the path of research and allows researchers to make connections to other authors and articles within the same field or subject area.
