What is the CMRS Library?
Whether you are already affiliated with CMRS, or you are an AUC Library user, or an external researcher interested in migration and refugees, this website is your portal onto the CMRS Library. The main feature of the CMRS Library is our Grey Files collection of primary documents such as unpublished and relatively rare reports, handbooks, communicae and conference materials and some rare journal articles, published reports, and other selected materials not otherwise found in the AUC Library system.
If you have any questions about the CMRS Library, or recommendations about this LibGuide webpage, call, write us an email, or visit us in the CMRS Offices on the 5th floor of 5 Youssef El Gindi Street. Welcome to CMRS, and good luck with your research!
Announcements
WELCOME, NEW CMRS STUDENTS!
The CMRS Library has moved!
We have moved (with the rest of CMRS) to the 5th floor of 5 Youssef El Gindi Street and are now up and running. The new location is in the same building as the AUC Clinic downtown, across Mohamed Mahmoud Street and down a bit on the left from the Greek Campus (where we used to be located).
Law Library has moved
The Law Library also moved this summer from their former location in Garden City with the Law Department to a new room on the 2nd Floor of the Main Library at AUC's New Campus.
Clarification in Online Catalog
In the online catalog, the CMRS Library now appears as a location, so you can search by this location in an "advanced search" or you can now see the correct location of CMRS Library materials as you do a general search. (Previously, some CMRS Grey Files were listed within in the Law Library or the Wallace Annex.)
